2016 GMC Sierra Vehicle Spotlight

For 2016, the GMC Sierra 1500 truck offers you a new look with new, premium styling cues and even more advanced engineering incorporating technology that complements the crafted interior design. Highlights of the new or revised features on the truck include:
  • New headlamps with GMC signature LED lighting on all models
  • High-Intensity Discharge projector-beam headlamps with LED signature standard on base model, SLE and SLT. 
  • Available remote locking tailgate
  • New grille design with specific appearance for base mode, Elevation, SLE, SLT, All Terrain and Sierra Denali. 
Some of the new next-generation technologies that have been incorporated into the available options for this model are Lane Keep Assist, which helps the truck stay in its late with subtle steering enhancements,and IntelliBeam headlamp control, which adjusts the high beams automatically based on oncoming traffic. These features are part of the Driver Alert Package available for SLT and Sierra Denali models.

The 2016 Sierra's new technologies also include phone integration via GMC IntelliLink, which enhances connectivity with applications such as navigation, hands-free and messaging through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
